iPAD RAPID RESPONSE
During Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, I initiated Project iPad Rapid Response. When I was awarded the Technology Repair Center (TRC) Coordinator position, it was discovered that thousands of broken iPads that had been collected during 2020-the year of Covid-19 and the year Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) incorporated at-home learning due to state and federal mandates preventing in-person learning. Realizing the broken iPads’ warranties were about to expire, my team initiated Project iPad Rapid Response. The campagn resulted in the warranty covered replacement of 7,385 iPads with no cost to the district. This project created a total cost savings of over $1.5M.
